$50 non-refundable fee per vehicle
Every paid NYHUT.com order is subject to a $50 non-refundable service and cancellation fee for each vehicle included in the order. The fee applies per truck or other vehicle because each vehicle requires its own information review, credential request, processing workflow, and order record.
Cancellation before submission to New York State
A customer may request cancellation before the order for the applicable vehicle is submitted to New York State. NYHUT.com will refund the amount paid for that vehicle after deducting the $50 non-refundable per-vehicle service and cancellation fee and any government or other nonrecoverable processing charges already incurred.
Orders submitted to New York State
Once the order for a vehicle has been submitted to New York State, the amount charged for that vehicle is non-refundable. State submission is the objective cutoff for cancellation eligibility because processing work has been completed and the request is no longer solely within NYHUT.com's control.
State decisions and nonrecoverable charges
New York State controls whether a requested account, registration, permit, certificate, or decal is approved or issued. NYHUT.com cannot guarantee the state's decision. If New York declines to issue the requested credential before the order is completed, any available refund will be reduced by the $50 per-vehicle service fee and any government fees or other nonrecoverable processing charges.
Customer information and account problems
Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate business, tax, USDOT, account, and vehicle information. Missing returns, tax liabilities, identity mismatches, inactive accounts, inaccurate vehicle data, or failure to provide requested documentation can delay or prevent issuance. These circumstances do not eliminate the per-vehicle service fee or reverse charges that became non-refundable after state submission.
Duplicate payments and NYHUT.com billing errors
A verified duplicate payment or billing error caused by NYHUT.com will be refunded without deducting the $50 cancellation fee. Contact support promptly with the order number, payment information, and a description of the suspected duplicate or error.
How to request cancellation
Send the request immediately to info@nyhut.com or call 865-410-6530. Include the customer name, order number, affected vehicle or VIN, and reason for the request. A request is not effective until NYHUT.com confirms whether the vehicle order had already been submitted to New York State.
