Terms governing NYHUT.com orders and services.

By accessing NYHUT.com, submitting information, creating or using a customer portal, or purchasing a service, the customer agrees to these Terms of Service, the Privacy Notice, and the Processing, Cancellation & Refund Policy. A person placing an order represents that they are authorized to act for the customer and the vehicles included in the order.

NYHUT.com is operated by Authorities Direct as an independent commercial permit-ordering and processing service. NYHUT.com and Authorities Direct are not the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance and are not affiliated with or endorsed by New York State. Eligible carriers may apply directly through New York State.

Customers must provide complete, current, and accurate business, tax, USDOT, account, contact, payment, and vehicle information. The customer is responsible for reviewing all submitted information, responding to requests for documentation, and confirming that the requested service matches the carrier's operation.

NYHUT.com may pause or decline processing when information is incomplete, inconsistent, unauthorized, potentially fraudulent, or unsuitable for the selected service.

The customer authorizes Authorities Direct to use the supplied information to review, prepare, communicate about, and process the requested service, including submission to or interaction with applicable New York State systems, agencies, and processing resources. The customer also authorizes reasonable contact by email or telephone concerning the order.

Prices are displayed before payment and apply to the selected service. Each vehicle may require a separate credential, workflow, charge, and $50 non-refundable service and cancellation fee. Payment does not guarantee approval or issuance by New York State.

Cancellation and refund eligibility are governed by the Processing, Cancellation & Refund Policy.

Posted processing windows are operational schedules, not guarantees of state approval or delivery. Temporary orders received after the posted cutoff, on weekends, or on holidays begin processing during the next posted business period. Missing information, state-system availability, account discrepancies, verification requests, filing problems, and customer response time can delay completion.

New York State determines account eligibility, credential issuance, filing status, documentation requirements, and acceptance of a request. NYHUT.com cannot guarantee that New York will approve or issue a registration, permit, certificate, decal, renewal, replacement, or account update by a particular time or at all.

Customers consent to receive order confirmations, payment notices, document requests, processing updates, permit documents, portal messages, and other service communications electronically. Customers are responsible for maintaining an accurate email address and reviewing communications promptly.

Customers may not use NYHUT.com to submit false or unauthorized information, impersonate another person or business, interfere with the website, attempt unauthorized access, distribute malicious software, or use documents or credentials for a vehicle or entity to which they do not apply.

NYHUT.com may update, suspend, restrict, or discontinue a website feature or service when reasonably necessary for security, maintenance, provider availability, legal compliance, state-system changes, or operational requirements. Existing paid orders remain subject to the terms in effect when the order was placed unless a change is required by law or the customer agrees otherwise.
